Local Cake Shop

I guess this shop has the best reviews in the area so my husband bought himself a treat when he started his new job. I went there recently for the first time to get him cake for his birthday. They have tons of Christmas gifts now, different packages stuffed with cookies and things, plus everyone is ordering Christmas cakes. I got a slice of strawberry shortcake and a slice of "Delicius," the specialty cheesecake made with brie and topped with apricot jam. Both were 380 yen a slice before tax. They were both really nice, coming from someone who isn't into cakes. I understand why they are so busy and highly rated. One of the (non-Japanese) staff there also speaks English, which is probably so helpful since there are lots of foreigners living in the area. It was quite busy and noisy inside the little storefront while I was there, but I'm sure I heard her speaking in English.
