Multicultural Cafe
Comm Cafe is located in a building with a Multicultural Center and a library branch. The NPO project's focus is sharing international menus prepared by rotating chefs from the local international community. The space also hosts events with a multicultural and sustainable focus. All of the staff are NPO employees and come from multicultural backgrounds as the city has tons of non-Japanese residents. I enjoyed the hot Indian Chai with some cookies as a set. I haven't had the real thing, but it was not as flavorful as I imagine real Chai is. The rotating lunch set looks very interesting, as customers can try foods from a variety of countries for 880 yen.
