Navigation lantern and river views
This sliver of park on the Old Edo River is named after the Joyato, a stone navigation lantern erected in the early 1800s. The lantern was an important navigation light for commerce on the river, and pilgrims headed for Naritasan Shinshoji who crossed on ferries. Today, it isn't as bustling but you'll see commercial and private boats on the river. The river walk is a paved path on the elevated riverbank with some lawn space. It has a public toilet at the north end. On your walk, make a pit stop here, as there aren't many other toilets in the area.
