Kollabo authentic Korean dishes, great service, nice atmosphere

Kollabo, a chain of 15 restaurants, serves up Korean cuisine from a dozen famous South Korean restaurants. One location is at Nagareyama Ootakanomori shopping center. The restaurants offer lunchtime set menus. I opted for the A set with samgyetang, rice, and sides of salad, kimchi, and marinated wakame. The samgyetang is loaded with chicken and ginseng. It comes graced with a jujube, called natsume in Japanese. Second helpings, okawari, of the sides are indicated on the menu. I found the ensemble satisfying. The booth seats are comfy, and there is natural light from the veranda. Even better, you can connect to WIFI. Great for looking up the signature dishes! The menu lists the ingredients, including allergens (Japanese language only). The servers were fast, polite, and helpful when I asked about natsume, a fruit that I'd never had before. In fact, the chef elaborated that the dish is similar to Japanese "yakuzen", medicinal cuisine.
