Hivi is a hair salon super close to Niigata Station (under 10 minutes away on foot), and it's a nice spot to pop into even if you don't need a cut - they do hair spas which are really nice for a bit of scalp rejuvenation. Typically you can get same day appointments, which is nice if you find yourself in the area and need a bit of R&R! I recommend keeping an eye on Hot Pepper because they often have discounts.
