Not just one, but many onsen

I knew little to nothing about Unazuki Onsen before visiting earlier in the week. We ended up there by chance, on our way to Kurobe Gorge and Dam, which I had always wanted to visit. And also, the Kurobe Open Air Train which I had always wanted to ride but didn't know Unazuki Onsen is a principal station on the "torocco" train. After realizing this and visiting the onsen village, I can't understand how I'd never heard of 'Unazuki'. It is a stunning, old mountain village. In English "Onsen" (the Japanese word for hot springs) implies one hot spring, but in Japanese it can be singular and plural, and, in this case, it is the latter. It is village with many onsen. It is really beautiful in summer, but I imagine it is even more stunning in Autumn or winter. However, some of it closes during the periods of heavy snow.
