    1983 In A Fun Way

The place looks like it is trying to be a gothic castle and the massive window displays show all the plastic replicas of the food that you would expect from a Japanese family restaurant and that is just what it is. A standard for the area for decades, Prince Matsuba looks like a time travellers paradise inside, very much replicating a clean comfy version of 1983. It feels very homey and neat for a place that advertises Coffee and Stake on the front window. I ordered the Mexican Spaghetti which had nothign to do with Mexico in a way that brought back such nostalgia for pre-internet small town logic that I could not help but smile. The portions were generous and the serving vessel for the ice coffee resembled a small silver barrel for some reason. Also there was a lot of lovely and delicious fruit garnish for the beverages. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I love this place.
