Lake Inawashiro

Fall in love with Japan's 4th largest lake!

Lake Inawashiro is located in Koriyama City in Fukushima Prefecture. It is Japan's fourth largest lake, and in my humble opinion, one of the most beautiful. My family and I have been to dozens of lakes around Japan, but we all agree that there is just 'something' about Lake Inawashiro and we all fell entirely in love with it! It is a location we hope to revisit several times. Some of the lake is quite shallow so it is ideal for playing and swimming in. And they have several water activities, such as SUP and boat rides.
