Get your American food fix (at a price)
Bubby's in Kichijoji is a delicious place to get your fix of all things Americana, with things like pulled pork sandwiches, various burgers, pancakes topped with fried chicken, and more on the menu. They've also got some salads, including kale salad, if you're trying not to induce a heart attack ;) The portions are sizeable, but it's a lot pricier than what you'd expect to pay for equivalent meals in the good ol' U.S. of A. Some of the burgers, for instance, clock in at over 2000 yen.

Great, Albeit Expensive American Food
Bubby's has a menu that's a fairly close shot to what we could find over in North America. Their fries have a good level of seasoning and are thick-cut. I had their blue cheeseburger, and it tasted pretty good with only a moderate touch of the blue cheese. The size of the burger is a bit small for the price of it though, but since it came with the fries and a long slice of pickle, I suppose I can't complain about that. The other order was the griddle special. You have a choice of how you like your eggs and if you want potatoes, but the griddle and bacon are standard. The griddle is really good, and tastes like somthing that would come from your kitchen, so it's a pretty rare find in Tokyo. The restaurant cooks can poach their eggs really well too. For dessert, we had a seasonal S'mores pie. It had a thick top layer of actual roasted marshmallow and a bottom layer of fudge, all contained in a crust of graham. I wasn't a fan of the graham crust's texture as I felt it crumbled too easily and there were little hard parts, but it tasted good. The staff also asked if we wanted it heated before serving as well, so that was nice. The restaurant itself can get really busy though, so there might be a lineup. The seating isn't tiny, but space is limited. Decor is very reminiscent of a lodge, which is an interesting choice considered that it's right in the middle of a shopping area.
