Family friendly shopping
Apart from dozens of familiar clothes brands and practical shops and supermarkets, Lalaport Tachikawa also offers entertainment, with some kids play areas and a cinema. They also have some great food choices between the food court and trendy restaurants. I'm not a fan of the parking lot system here, especially on weekends when it gets very congested.

Convenient one stop shopping
For one stop shopping, Lalaport in Tachikawa is incredibly convenient. There are a range of different stores, both from western and Japanese brands - I'm personally grateful for stores like Gap and H&M as a lot of Japanese fashion brands aren't really my style. Parking onsite is easy and in plentiful supply.
