Be Part of the 2D World
Japan doesn’t have a shortage of theme cafes and restaurants and 2D CAFÉ just joined the fun! Located in Tokyo’s Shin-Okubo, this café’s white interior and bold, black outlines on its furniture and decorations make you feel you’re inside of a comic book (or Manga). 2D Café also serves shaved ice, cakes, and beverages like the famous ‘bubble tea.’ We Ordered: 1. Brown Sugar Bubble Tea- It was 650 yen, a bit pricey, but the serving was quite generous. The taste was good, but I had better. 2. Blueberry Cheese Cake and Cheese Cake- It was not too sweet which I like. A lot of people were ordering their shaved ice, which we never tried because it was a bit expensive. We mostly went for taking photos and bubble tea, since we love it a lot! If you are looking for INSTA-WORTHY pictures then 2D Café is a must-visit, but make sure to come here early because it can get crowded and you might get frustrated (because of the crowd) taking your shots!
