Quick note: they've changed business names
For anyone who was planning to stay here, it's probably worth noting that they've changed their name from Hotel Felice to Hotel Hillarys. All of the amenities and rooms still seem to be the same, so it might just be a branding thing - but just so you know! You can find their updated website here: http://www.hotel-hillarys.com/akasaka/

Cozy and convenient hotel in Akasaka Mitsuke
I love Minato-ku - there's so much to see and do - but some accommodation there is rather pricey. I stayed at Hotel Felice recently with a spur of the moment trip to Tokyo during Obon week, and it was reasonably priced and super conveniently located. You can access the hotel within just a few minutes on foot from either Akasaka, Akasaka Mitsuke, or Tameike-Sanno subway lines. The area is walkable to a lot of city sights, and the streets surrounding it are packed full of restaurants and bars. Sadly because it was Obon week, some of those restaurants were closed (bummer!) but if you stayed outside a holiday period you'd have so many amazing spots to choose where to eat at. Staff were friendly and multilingual, the check in and out process was a breeze, and the lobby area has free coffee - not just your standard black coffee, but various fancy types too. If you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Tokyo that feels a step up from a business hotel (and adds a bit of luxe) then this is a good option.
