Stone Oven Baked Pizzas served by English Speaking Staff
Fico is a pizzaria located in Kawagoe-shi, a place known for its “old clay warehouses.” This restaurant’s whereabouts is not within the city’s shopping district, so if your just a passerby it might not be on your radar. However, I still suggest this place because it’s one of the few pizzarias in Japan that cook their pizzas in a BRICK OVEN. I love brick oven pizzas because it just have that distinct flavor that you don’t get with just an ordinary oven. Food: Their pizzas are simply mouthwatering! Ambiance: Since it’s far from the shopping district, it’s quiet and a perfect place to have a serene moment with your special someone. Service: They don’t have an English menu but one of their staff speaks English because she lived in UK for a while, while the chef used to reside in Italy. All and all, Fico is one of the restaurants I’ll visit, from time to time, when I decide to eat out.
