    Tonkatsu lunch at WAKO

A while ago I went out for lunch with my husband and my mother-in-law. We ended up at Azamino Gardens - a place with 18 shops and restaurants and several sports facilities - and use to go to Katsukoubou WAKO (かつ工房和幸). WAKO is known for its good quality pork which is severed in a juicy and crispy way with their original sauce. We ordered several tonkatsu dishes such as edamame and potatoes. Everything was really delicious, one of the best tonkatsu I ate so far! Together with the meat and gabbage you get a plate with miso soup and a rice container what was really interesting for me. Also, gabbage, miso soup and rice is all-you-can-eat, so you just need to tell one of the staff members and you get more. The restaurant was surprisingly huge, but it has a nice atmosphere and looks pretty modern. I enjoyed out visit there a lot. At Azamino Gardens WAKO is opened from 11:00 to 22:00 every day. Last order is at 21:15. They have a small shop at the entrance where you can buy tonkatsu and sauces for your home. Because it is a chain restaurant you can find it at many places all over Japan.
