Kakudahama

Pleasant beach

Kakudahama is a pleasant public beach on the Sea of Japan coastline, and it's marked by a lighthouse on the cliffside. It's quite a child-friendly beach since the water stays pretty calm and it doesn't get too deep too fast like some beaches do. It gets fairly busy during the peak summer season, but during off-peak times it's a quiet, tranquil spot for a walk.
