Convenience at its best
It had been a long time since I was last in Kichijoji Station and it has greatly improved since my last visit. It was always a great station in fairness, but now it is more stylish and convenient. It is a relatively easy station to navigate, if you are not in a hurry. But you also wouldn't dash through it either, unless you are particularly familiar with it. I had to pay attention to the signs. Unfortunately, many of them are Japanese only which might make it even more difficult for non-Japanese speakers. Great selection of shopping malls, eateries, services and even a park, close to the station. Brilliant atmosphere too.

A straight shot from Shibuya
Kichijoji Station is a straight shot from Shibuya on the Keio Inokashira Line, with the journey taking around 30 minutes on regular trains -- there are also express routes that take just over 15 minutes. The station itself has tons of retail options and restaurants surrounding it, and is in walking distance to attractions like Inokashira Park.
