    Nice Stay, Decent Rooms

The biggest hotel in the area it seems, this place it pretty easy to find and centrally located in the little town of Yonezawa, Yamagata. The interior lobby is nice and clean and there was even a member of staff who spoke English with a high degree of fluency. In our room, which was nice and wide, we found a small bottle of antibacterial alcohol spray to use but with a placard reminding us not to take it with us. The room itself was lovely and I feel onliged to add that leaving one of your curtains drawn overnight in an east-facing room on a higher floor makes for a lovely morning surprise of the sun as it comes over the mountains and looks more like a painting than real life. The only thing I didn't like was the shower curtain, which was clingy in the way that I had forgotten how much I hated back in the states.
