Excellent Pizza, Wonderful Atmosphere
We had had our eyes on this place for a bit, never quite making it there in time despite making a few trips to Onagawa's excellent seaside shopping area over a few months. In winter of 2021, we finally happened upon the place just before closing and were surprised that the staff seemed very happy for us to come in and eat. The last patron before us was off in a corner and left shortly after we came in. While we tried to keep our business brief so that the workers could close up, the staff did their best to make us feel at home and the pizza was wonderful. We eat a lot of pizza and this place was on par with our favorites in the area, and at a reasonable price, too. The atmosphere was perfect and almost made us feel as if we might have been transported to a little shop in Italy that cold winter's day. The Seapal Pier shopping area was done up for the holidays with lights in the trees along the walkway to boot, so the whole experience was wonderful for that time. We loved the pizza so much that we took some back to our hotel to enjoy later.
