Shunsai-ka

Fresh sourced fruit and veg from various farms in Niigata

Shunsai-ka is a farmer's market-style premises in Niigata's Akiha ward, and it's great if you're a fan of local produce. They source a variety of fruits and veggies from somewhere around 100 farms across the prefecture, so it's a great way to support Niigata's growers. They are closed on Tuesdays but open from 9am-5pm other days during most of the year, during winter their hours are slightly shortened to 9.30am until 5pm. On-site parking for almost 20 vehicles is available out the front.
