Shoe fitting for kids

It is so hard to find a shoe shop in Saitama that does proper shoe fitting for kids. Some stores leave out a board for you to measure the length of your kids feet, but rarely do you see one that has a measuring tape to measure the breadth as well. Genki Kids Plaza is a shoe chain store that offers electronic feet measuring for length, breadth and width. When they measure your child's feet they are able to tell you the best size for your child. The only thing is, unlike children's shoe stores in Ireland, they don't have shoes that come in different widths for that perfect feet. But hey, they at least measure your child's feet properly. They even print out the results and hand them to you with the recommended shoe size for your child recorded on it and information on the back about feet and shoes sizes. It works as a nice keepsake too. The shoes are a bit pricey, averaging about 3000 yen (remember this is for children) in my experience. However, in my opinion, the measuring and free print out and choice of shoes make it worth while. Plus, if you have a Lalaport and Genki Kids membership card you get points. The store is located on the first floor. The nearest landmark is the fantastic book store Libro. The food court is nearby too. They open from 10 am to 9 pm, seven days a week. The nearest parking is probably car park three, which is an outdoor parking lot.
