Nice spot in spring

The Citizens' Park in Mitsuke is a really nice spot when spring hits if you're seeking all things blossoms. The photo is from a previous year's visit, but gives you an idea of some of the color you can expect. The best time to visit for the somei yoshino blossoms is around the early to mid-April timeframe, so it's a nice option if you miss the blossoms a little earlier on in the season! If you visit in late March/early April there's also lots of katakuri (dogtooth violets) which look really pretty blanketing the ground!
