Located in Kirarina Keio (also reviewed below) Taiwan Castella Meito is a dessert shop that specializes in Castella, a light, fluffy sponge cake. They do castella all year round, but apparently, they have seasonal specials too. I contemplated buying some as omiyage, but it was just too expensive. So, I settled on a castella soft serve cup - pieces of bite size castella with delicious soft-serve ice-cream on top. Also, not cheap at 750 yen. More than I would normally pay, but its nice to splash out every now and then!
