Kankoku Dining "Kan" 韓国ダイニング　「韓」

Authentic and hearty Korean dishes

The Korean mamma who runs Kan greets us graciously when we visit. Her chef and staff serve elegantly presented yakinniku and traditional Korean dishes. The food is not just hot but flavorful. Some of the most satisfying meals we've had in Noda City were had here with friends. Kan's chijimi, the popular Korean take on okonomiyaki, is a meal in itself. Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and laden with good stuff, will fill you up fast. Be sure to share it with two or three friends. Note that proportions are generous. Order soup and you will be presented with a large bowl easily shared with three or four people. Another good point about Kan - it's open late. So if you're full of energy from a busy and fun day, this is a great place to linger with friends. Note that they're closed Wednesdays. HOW TO GET THERE: Kan is an easy 3 minute walk from the west side of Kawama Station.
