    Chiba peanut specialty shop

Chiba Prefecture is known for its peanut production and this small shop just north of Shimizu Park, a popular flower viewing spot, specializes in the legumes. The products are tastefully packaged, brought in from various peanut farms in the region. They're premium, so you'll pay a premium price. They make great gifts for visitors. My visitors liked the sable biscuits and salty caramel-flavored peanut snacks sold here. The shop is tiny and though it's immediately in front of Nanakodai Station, it's accessible only from the side street.
