    コッペパン専門店

I thought this specialty coppe-pan shop was called 2:50, but I guess the name is actually their two recommended sweet breads: an (sweet red bean paste) butter, salt butter. It just opened, despite a lot of food shops suffering because of coronavirus. This is a really tiny shop with benches outside but no seating area. It's basically take out only, and like my husband said, made to order like Subway sandwich shop. There are sweet spreads and savory spreads on the menu. The savory ones are mostly fried katsu sandwiches. They also recommend coffee and some other drinks. We went for a couple of the sweet breads each: Creme Brulee and an-macha for me, the recommended an-butter and salt-butter for my husband. They were not coppe-pan at all. The bread is really soft and sweet plus the filling is buttery and sweet. Two were a lot for me as a snack, and they were too sweet without a black coffee or some tea to balance it out. I kind of wished I had tried one of the savory sandwiches instead of both sweet breads. They're obviously high calorie and were more filling than we expected. Most of their items are around 200 yen each. they were individually wrapped with a label showing which bread it was. Maybe worth a try, but we don't think we'd go back. Mostly the illustration of the child eating coppe-pan was cute. I didn't understand why it says 2:50 - maybe a reference to the 3pm snack but a little early?
