Garden and Cafe Prunus

A special somewhere

Garden and Cafe Prunus started out as a flower shop. It is operating as a cafe for the last 5 years. There is a workshop area in the cafe too, called Atelier Karen. You can pay for crafting or flower arranging classes. Or you can just visit for a coffee and a bite to eat. They have special events too. The menu is really small. But the food is delicious, healthy and served beautifully. Most of the ingredients are grown locally. They accommodate people with allergies. You can eat inside or outside. The garden is well maintained and beautiful in spring. There is a space inside on the upper floor for children. Downstairs there are two main seating areas inside and you can drink in the workspace area too. In very rural Higashimatsuyama and hard to get to by public transport. There is plenty of parking. The Coedo Brewery is nearby.
