Okazaki Castle

Nice castle, check for the cool payphone on the grounds!

I've visited quite a few castles in Japan now, but Okazaki Castle was memorable maybe not so much for the castle, but for the super-cool payphone on the grounds - I think it's the best one I've seen in Japan! The area surrounding the castle has plenty to do, including a museum dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, teahouses, and more. We stopped here on a road trip down to Shikoku, so I don't know if I'd have made a specific visit to come here - but it's cool if you're in the area or passing through.
