    Kasai Rinkai Koen

The Kasai Rinkai Koen can be easily reached by the JR Keiyo or JR Musushino Line in 10 minutes from Tokyo Station or by water bus from Odaiba or Ryogoku. The park was opened in 1989 just right next to the Tokyo bay. It is the largest park in central Tokyo with a big beach, where you can enjoy a BBQ or just a nice walk. The park is also the home of a Sea Bird Sanctuary, which is perfect for bird lovers to take some great photos and the Tokyo Sealife Aquarium. You will have the best view over the park from the Diamond and Flowers Ferris Wheel, which is the second highest in Japan. From the beach you can also take a look at the Tokyo Disneyland or just enjoy the sun under the giant palm trees. The park has many seasonal beautiful flowers and plum/cherry trees, which are worth to visit the whole year. Since the park is very large, the visitors spread very well and it is not crowded even during the summer season. The park is the perfect place for a family trip at the weekend.
