Beautifully weathered torii

I spotted this quaint shrine while driving and then hiked to the area from a nearby public parking lot. But there is actually parking for a couple of cars in front of the beautiful old Torii. There is some lovely stone work in front of the shrine and an idyllic walkway and steps up to the shrine. Unfortunately, I got stung by a wasp as I was photographing the torii and had an allergic reaction! So I never did get to venture right up to the shrine. But the journey was worth it for the view of the stunning weather worn torii. There are a couple of houses beside the shrine, but other than that there is nothing in the immediate area. It is a really beautiful area to hike or cycle, and there were dozens of cyclists in the area today, and enjoy natural scenes.
