Kita Asaba Sakura Tsutsumi is a cherry blossom avenue in the Nissai area of Sakado City. The avenue of cherry blossoms stretch 1.2 kilometers. The area has become famous in the last two to three years. The cherry blossoms typically bloom in early March with best bloom in the middle of March. There is a car park at the location, but the area is quite tricky to get to by public transport. During the period of the festival - which is cancelled for 2020 - there is a free shuttle bus from Kita Sakado Station on the Tobu Tojo line on the weekends only. However, in 2020 the shuttle bus, like the festival, has been cancelled. There is very little at the site, just one vending machine and a couple of toilets. There is also very little in the immediate vicinity. But the cherry blossoms are beautiful and worth a visit.
