Satisfying croque monsieur

At ¥450, Beck’s Croque Monsieur seemed a bit expensive for a sandwich. But it comes with a good helping of bechamel sauce, cheese, ham, and spinach. The bread was toasted just right. Japan’s cheese culture is underdeveloped but the combination has a pleasing tang. It was a nice treat to rest for a bit and have a satisfying snack.
