Fresh squid sashimi

This shop is located on Ikuchijima island, on the Shiomachi shopping street, in a renovated wooden Japanese house with a garden. It specialized in fresh squid and the owner is very particular about it and catches it himself. That shows, because it really is delicious and healthy! The menu consists of squid sashimi dipped in raw egg and a special sauce, with rice and soup. And there is also a squid tempura option for those who do not eat raw squid or egg. I really loved the atmosphere and how friendly the owner was! By the way, the place is quite small (it isn't narrow, but there are only 12 seats and just the owner both cooking and serving the customers), so it is better to reserve in advance.
