Retro Indian restaurant, great value

You could get lunch at Chiba Station's myriad shopping station eateries. I decided to wander the streets around the north side of Chiba Station and discovered Nature Tandoor, a retro Indian restaurant. Lunch is served from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm every day, with sets ranging from 900 to 1700 yen. I opted for chicken curry, salad, rice, and a drink. I got a huge helping of rice and a not-too-spicy bowl of curry with tender chicken. The set comes with yogurt drizzled with mango puree. It's flavourful, filling food for under 1000 yen. The courteous and prompt service made me feel at ease. The decor screams Bubble Era, and don't count on using your cashless apps here. It's old school, cash or credit card only.
