Tasty Chinese eats close to Shimokitazawa Station

Mintei is a tasty Chinese restaurant in easy walking distance from Shimokitazawa Station (about three minutes on foot), and they have a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Their fried rice is their iconic dish, but I also really liked the ramen here which had a fresh, clean taste to it rather than being overly greasy and heavy. They've been in business for decades, which I always think is a good sign in ever-changing Tokyo! I'd recommend going earlier in the day if possible as they do get busy.
