Hatoyama Agriculture Park

Wading river and October cherry blossoms

Hatoyama Agriculture Park is a very disappointing park in Hatoyama! There is very little in it, but there are two things about it that make it even worth mentioning. The first is that in summer it has a decent splash pad and wading river. It makes up for the excuse of a playground with only three pieces of equipment - a zip line, a slide and a spring ride. The other is its cherry blossoms. There are only a handful, but they are picturesque. But even better - they bloom in October too. The park is located near enough to JAXA earth observation center. There is a lovely garden cafe and bakery "Gu Choki Pan" located nearby. Parking is free.
