Heavenly dog waterfall!
The Tengu Taki is one of three waterfalls in the Kuroyama area of Ogose Town. Tengu is a legendary figure. Somebody translated it as "heavenly dog" and sometimes these falls are referred to as the Heavenly Dog Waterfall. The fall was named such because it is said that the mythical character lives in the mountain there. Unfortunately, this year you can not actually walk right up to the fall like usual. This is not because of the Coronavirus, but because the area suffered quite a lot of damage in typhoon #19 (Hagibis) in Autumn last year. You can see the falls from a distance. They are quite beautiful. The car park for the falls is about 800 meters down the road. There is a toilet near these falls. There is also a restaurant nearby.
