Repurposed vintage store featuring Chiba products

CB PAC is housed in a turn-of-the-last-century merchant shop, the former Nakamura Shoten on Nagareyama Kaido in the old heart of Noda City. You'll see some classic shophouse features like antique electrical wiring and a weathered wooden interior. The shopkeeper has named the place in honor of a family business unrelated to the goods he sells. What's special about CB PAC in this antique shop is the focus on Chiba Prefecture products. A selection of teas, condiments, housewares, and guide books all originate in towns on the Boso Peninsula of Chiba Prefecture. It's a great place to pick up artisanal foods such as locally produced vinegar, peanut butter, and even mayonnaise. The small selection of travel-related books might spark your future travels in Boso, too.
