The Original Pancake House Kichijoji Marui

Came for the pancakes, stayed for the view

The Original Pancake House is a long-established American restaurant, that first opened in Japan in 2013. I believe the one I visited was the first of the chain in Japan. I also believe that it was recently "renewed". I had hoped to sit outdoors, but the tables and parasols were indoors on the day I visited. But thanks to the large floor to (high) ceiling windows, I still had a good view of the world passing by. It's expensive. Some might say it's worth it. I went for the novelty as we don't have an Original Pancake House in my area of Saitama. I am glad I went and I might go again some day.
