Yasumiya harbor

Small harbor with boat excursions

Yasumiya Harbor is the main harbor on the south side of Lake Towada in Aomori prefecture, but it is literally a one minute walk from Akita prefecture! It is a small harbor, but it is a picturesque photo spot. It is also the pier from where the main tourist boat excursions sail from. You can walk out on the pier even if you aren't taking one of the excursion boat rides.
