Tokyo Bay view spots
On my way to Hinode Pier to board a Tokyo Bay cruise, I killed some time at Takeshiba Pier and its surroundings. It's well worth a visit. On summer evenings, you'll see crowds of visitors clad in yukatas as they make their way to dinner cruises. You could mistake the place for a festival venue. The boardwalk has great view spots where you can see landmarks such as the Rainbow Bridge, the Daiba fortifications turned into parks, and wharves lining Tokyo Bay. I recommend stopping at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center to see the terraces of Takeshiba Shinhakkei Garden. Pro tip - the FamilyMart facing the pier has a small eat in space where you can plug in your mobile devices.
