Soak your feet in beautifying waters for free!

If you want to experience the onsen waters of Ureshino for free, Siebold’s footbath allows you to do just that. The precinct is open 24/7 and even has free wifi if you want to be uploading pictures to Instagram or checking emails while you soak your feet. The water in Ureshino is meant to be beautifying for your skin, and I definitely think there was a softening, smoothing effect. There are some tea stores just by the footbaths if you want to pick up a nice souvenir from Ureshino too - one of the stores actually brought us out some tea samples as we were soaking our feet, which was a clever marketing ploy! Bring a towel so that you're able to dry off your feet after soaking them!
