Tea and traditional sweets

Higashiya in Ginza is a really nice spot to stop into if you're in Tokyo and you like tea and traditional sweets. Some of the sweets here focus on seasonality, so if you visit at different times of year you'll have different things to choose from, and others are available year-round. In terms of sweetness I feel like the sweets here are very natural compared to Western sweets - there's more of a focus on things like fruits and nuts for both flavor and texture, but well worth trying IMO.
