Unfortunately, Venus Fort Mall is another of dozens of locations that closed during the pandemic. It closed in August 2022 after just 23 years of business. It is a real shame as it was an atypical mall with lots to offer, including entertainment not just shopping.

Dark and Calming Mall
Malls try to be bright and make you excited for shopping, for it is rare that Venus Fort is quite dark and calm inside. It makes the walk inside very relaxing, and since you do not see natural light at all, you can easily spend a long time just walking around. In that way, it reminds me of a casino like in Vegas. Back to the mall itself, the Venus theme is really beautiful too with a fountain in the mall that is really beautiful to at photos in front. When you want an indoor romantic walk in Odaiba, this is a good mall for that.

More than a mall
Odaiba's Venus Fort to me is more than just a mall - it's a real entertainment area. It's decked out to look like you're in Venice, and if you've been to the Venetian in Las Vegas you might find that it's reminiscent of that! The roof of the mall is painted to look like the sky, there's a fountain, and classic style architecture. Worth a visit if you're in the area - we love stopping by when we're in the city.
