Hakata Station

Busy station but lots of amenities

Hakata Station is a busy spot since it's served by a number of different lines, including shinkansen services and local routes. It has the potential to feel quite overwhelming, but I actually found it quite pleasant. There are an absolute myriad of shopping and dining options within the station itself, and even more just beyond it - such as the very close by Kitte Hakata complex. All in all, a pleasant spot to transit through.
