Spectacular antique and modern glass

I didn't have high expectations of this museum, but I was pleasantly surprised by not only the works displayed there, but also the design of the museum halls, gardens, and cafe. Maybe this museum isn't a priority for visitors from abroad, but it's worth a visit. Even on a rainy day, the galleries and gardens are a pleasant excursion. The recreation of a Venetian manor houses antique glass objects that demonstrate the craftsmanship of Venetian glass artisans. The Contemporary Glass Museum has sculptural works by famous artists including Dale Chihuly. The gallery design, too, is stimulating and complement the works on display. On my visit on a rainy winter morning, the raindrops on glass displays and the landscaping made everything sparkle and intensified the colors.
