Modern free children's centre close to station

Piaza Fujimi is a 4 storey community centre close to the station. The jidokan or children's centre is on the 3rd floor. It is quite small in comparison to the average jidokan (children's centre), but it has more than enough to entertain small children. I personally feel it is best suited to children under 7 years old. The first time you visit you need to fill out an information card with your name, address, name and age of children. After that you just need to sign in when you visit. Anyone accompanied by children can use the centre once they comply with these conditions. The forms are in Japanese. I am sure the centre staff will help you read and fill them out, if you are unable to read Japanese. As far as I know though, none of the staff are fluent in English. The centre has a large hall with some foam blocks. They also put out some equipment for physical activity. Beside reception there is an open plan hall with small tables for playing table top games or colouring. Past that there is a playroom with equipment and toys for younger children. There is a small ball pool in that room. There is a nappy / diaper changing area in a family toilet. The jidokan is kept very clean, is temperature controlled and is well lit with high ceilings. Opening hours are 10 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. There is no parking at the facility, but there are plenty of coin parking lots around. There is a small outdoor park nearby.
