Craft beer selection and great service

The central part of Noda City along the Nagareyama Kaido has a number of locally-owned and operated shops. Hinoya is perhaps the largest retail shop along the road. At the door, you'll be greeted by a little bird in a cage, a fixture in the neighborhood. The family that runs the shop is friendly, too. They'll be sure to help you out if you're looking for something specific. The coolers are stocked with a wide variety of regional beer (such as Orion limited edition) and craft beer sourced from the Tokyo area and beyond. On my recent shopping trip, I scored some craft IPA and white beer from a craft brewer in Tokyo. The shop is open every day from 8:30 to 20:00.
