Rouge Blanc is a bakery in Minamiuonuma, Niigata. There are a host of offerings on their daily rotation, including sweet and savory breads. You can also get drinks/coffee, and they have some delicious parfaits in the summer months. The store also has a number of tables and chairs so that you can eat what you've purchased in store if you like. It's a very child friendly store too - high chairs, picture books and toys are all available to keep your little ones occupied while you enjoy your bread and caffeine fix! One of the nicest things about eating here is that you can see the surrounding mountains (including Hakkaisan) when the weather is clear. Worth a visit if you're in the area - especially for the adorable Anpanman and Doraemon custard filled breads! Most breads are priced around the 150 yen region.
