Inexpensive even for a whole family

If you want somewhere to swim that won't break the bank, the Sanjo City Pool only costs 200 yen for adult admission and 100 yen for kids during the summer season. Interestingly, it's actually more pricey here in the off season (up to 400 yen and 200 yen respectively). The only difference from the summer to winter seasons is that in summer they also have the outdoor pool open. That season runs from mid June to mid September. Year-round they also have an indoor pool and a children-specific pool, so it's a handy spot if you are visiting with younger ones in tow.
