Ningyo no Togyoku, the doll showroom in Saitama City is more than just a shop. The showroom displays seasonal dolls, artisanal examples of the art, and small items. It also has a photo studio where visitors can get professional portraits done while wearing costumes made by doll makers. There is also a workshop where you can observe craftspeople making dolls. Togyoku also has a museum located in the station front building where you can see exquisite examples of the art. Hands on experiences are available, too. The studio also provides workshops and materials to make various genres of traditional dolls.
